All my handsets, 8 last years at least, were from Samsung. I’m enjoy with it very much. Every time Samsung offers something new, smart, impressive and handful, as now it is. I mean Samsung Galaxy Nexus that can take you into mobile perfomance at absolutele new level. It’s notable that now you can unlock your phone easy – just using face Samsung Galaxy Nexus’s unlock system, you dont need complicated passwords to remember but only switch on your phone and look into the camera to quickly unlock your phone. I guess it’s great!
The computer game industry is big business all over the world; top consoles such as the Nintendo Wii and the Sony PS3 sell millions of units every year and the development of games is one of the fastest growing businesses in the world. It didn’t take long for mobile phone manufacturers to realise that this is an important industry and that having good quality computer games is a good way to sell phones.
This attitude has perhaps reached its zenith as Sony Ericsson are set to release the Xperia Play this month, a phone specifically designed with gaming in mind. Even Research in Motion have got in on the act, releasing the Blackberry Torch last year in order to improve their image and make people see them as more “fun”. Keeping in with this “fun” idea, there are plenty of great games available for the Blackberry with many of them totally free. Here are some of my favourites.
Guitar Heroes: Warriors of Rock
This game was a sensation on the consoles and now it has come to mobile phones with this great version available for Blackberry. You are Johnny Napalm, wannabe guitarist at the CBGB club in New York. The aim of the game is to learn the entire set list, featuring many of rock’s greatest hits. The more levels you play the more songs you unlock so it is an addictive quest.
Snake
Remember snake? The massively popular game that featured on many a classic Nokia phone a decade or so ago. Snake was one of the very first games available on mobile phones and now it is back on your Blackberry. Nothing complex or stunningly good lucking here but what is here is an unbelievably simple and brilliant game.
Finger Trap
Another simple yet addictive game and one that is only playable on a touch screen Blackberry phone such as the Blackberry Torch. Basically, you have to stop the blocks smashing into your red squares. It gets quite frenetic at times, especially in the “wild mode” setting where everything is harder and faster.

It is fair to say that until last year, Sony Ericsson had not been a huge success in the smartphone market. Although their business in terms of standard mobile phones is still going rather strong, they had been somewhat left behind in terms of smartphones by companies such as Apple, HTC and LG.
2010 was the year to turn this all around though and although it was not the best year for the company in terms of sales, they did release several models that look to make sure that 2011 will be a far more positive year, this included the launch of the new Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.
The main landmark for the company last year was the release of their high end smartphone, the Xperia X10. This looks set to be the phone that brings Sony Ericsson back in line with the other giants of mobile phone technology but just what is so special about it. The phone has several new features, and here are a few of them to look over.
Two features on the phone that have been hailed by Sony Ericsson are the brand new Timescape and Mediascape, both exclusive to the Xperia X10. Firstly, the Timescape feature takes all of your communication details including info from Facebook, twitter, text messaging, email and your call log and places them all in one single menu. This feature makes your social networking and other communication aspects of your mobile phone use so much easier to access, something that we all want of course.
The Mediascape function is equally as useful and does a similar thing to Timescape but, of course, with media instead of communications. It places all of your photos, songs and videos into one easy to use set up with uncluttered folders and simple menus. Both features also make great use of something called the “infinity” button. This allows you to view all of the information related to one artist. This is great and means you can access information quick and easily without trawling through endless folders. The Samsung Galaxy S has in fact been described as the daddy of all smartphones and one of the best Android phones on the market today. This is mainly due to the array of high tech features the handset has to offer, such as a super amoled display, an easy to use touchscreen, support for DivX and FLAC and great online performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S supports a huge 4-inch screen display; meaning viewers are able to view images, videos and web pages at ease.
The ample screen is also extremely easy to use and apps can be quickly accessed at the touch of a button and content can be viewed hassle free.
This particular handset has been given an all-new and updated version of the standard Samsung homescreen, a menu bar that features a sideways scrolling system and a series of unique applications that house tools for general apps such as messaging, calling and the calendar, as well as a series of widgets.
The light weight of this particular nifty handset is certainly a plus, especially if you wish to hold it for long periods of time whilst scrolling through all your favourite websites.
The specifications for this phone are in abundance and it pretty much houses everything when it comes to major communications, connection boxes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a A2DP stereo streaming feature.
The extremely advanced Wi-Fi network will certainly be suited to those that wish to use this particular handset as a media streamer as it is fully loaded with a DLNA streaming system. This allows the device to be hooked up to another device such as a PS3, a PC or a flat panel television system.
All of the above features make this handset a great device for those who are looking for plenty of entertainment and media features.

When it comes to sturdy, solid phones that can survive a good beating, Nokia are well known for providing some of the best. However, it’s been a while since Nokia produced a phone that is really up to date with the latest smart phone technology, and when someone buys a Nokia its usually an older model for insurance purposes. Not any more though. The Nokia N8 is heading our way, and it’s one of the most advanced smart phones to hit the market in some time.
The Nokia N8 will be working on the latest version of the Symbian operating system. Symbian has been paving its own path in the OS world for some time, and the latest version retains some of the most popular features such as the icon based grid menu and multiple widgets, but transitioning is much faster and multi tasking entirely possible. You can use multi touch input to run several applications at once and keep everything running smoothly thanks to the 680MHz processor.
The camera is another huge selling point at an amazing 12 megapixels, higher than a lot of standard digital cameras on the market. It also comes with autofocus and an advanced Zenon flash. Fancy recording some video? The N8 comes with Carl Zeiss optics video recording at 720p – that’s HD quality, at 25 frames per second. And if you want to watch your videos back, you can either do it on the phone’s beautiful 3.5 inch AMOLED screen or on a TV or laptop thanks to the phones TV and HDMI outward ports.
You can personalise the N8 to be the perfect phone for you with customisable home screens and widgets. You can also choose to have live social networking feeds such as Twitter and Facebook updated on a regular basis, keeping you up with the latest news. You can even stream TV channels directly to your phone. If music is more your thing, the phone comes with 50 hours of music playback.
The Nokia N8 – coming soon to www.phones4u.co.uk. It’s a game changer, and you can expect to see the other big manufacturers responding in kind soon after!
Is the gaming experience on the iPhone is better than on Android? many gamers say that’s so primarily because of the buttonless form factor of iPhone, but also because of the superior iPhone graphics. But a panel on mobile gaming at VentureBeat’s MobileBeat 2010 conference today said that’s not the case.
The panel participants all vehemently supported Android over iPhone, although largely because of developer support and the openness of Android’s platform rather than quality. However they also acknowledged several problems with Android, such as payment options, app discovery in the Android marketplace, and fewer categories in mobile gaming.
Well, but what is your opinion?
Looking for new mobile? So I am. There are so many offers of phone handsets, mobile networks and mobile phone tariffs on the market, that choosing a mobile phone could be daunting. First of all it’s important to understand what you exactly need from your handset then start to compare a mobile phone deal.
Well, I’m not a big talker or texter, I don’t need a mobile for listening music, watching TV Shows, playing games or something else like this. I want a modern multifunctional device friendly to Internet, with more or less good camera, GPS etc but not one of those last super cell mobiles that had lost their ease of use and reliability. What I know exactly is I don’t want iPhone, right now at least. Several years I’ve had Samsung SGH-U600 and it’s pretty well device that met all my needs, But it’s time to change it for something new.
Here is one more animated Nokia’s mobile phone concept on how Nokia phones would develop in the future, this time showing off a cool touchscreen user interface. [youtube="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LN0vVf-a9V0"]
